Earnest Kanyi was one of the protestors gunned down near Parliament on June 25, 2024. Passionate about public policy and a recent university graduate, he had been pushing for youth inclusion in national decisions. Friends say he was a strategist and a thinker, always reading and engaging in national discourse. His death became a stark example of how educated youth were being silenced by violent repression.
